Dr. Sara Horton

Veterinarian

Dr. Sara Horton has been practicing veterinary medicine for 25 years, and she is a dedicated member of the team at West Side Animal Clinic. A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Horton takes great pride in her ability to connect with her patients by building meaningful relationships with both pets and their owners. Dr. Horton finds joy in client interaction, and she strives to create long-lasting bonds.

Dr. Mark Kurtzman

Veterinarian

Dr. Mark Kurtzman has been practicing veterinary medicine for 34 years, and he is a valued veterinarian at West Side Animal Clinic. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Dr. Kurtzman takes pride in his honest and direct approach when working with both patients and their owners. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and exploring new places.

Dr. Jessica Jones

Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Jones earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University. She brings 13 years of experience in equine hospital and ambulatory medicine, small animal practice, and complex surgical and medical cases, along with additional training in veterinary dentistry.

Dr. Jones’ passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age, growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses. Through her involvement with the United States Pony Club, she discovered how naturally her love of animals, science, and math came together in veterinary medicine. She values building trusting relationships with families and supporting families in making informed choices for their pets.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, riding horses, biking, spending time on the water, and exploring new places.
